Your tour will pick you up from your Nairobi hotel or airport at 7:30 AM and head to Masai Mara. This drive takes approximately 5-6.5 hours and includes stops at the beautiful Great Rift Valley. Arrive in the Masai Mara just after noon, check into the lodge/camp, have a hot lunch, and depart for the afternoon hunting drive.

After your game drive, return to your lodge/camp to refresh and enjoy a freshly prepared dinner, arriving by around 5:30 or 6:00 PM. Stay overnight at the lodge.

Note: The last hour drive to Masai Mara is over a wavy and bumpy road and may not be comfortable for guests with back problems. If you have back problems, consider flying directly to (or from) Masai Mara.

Today's itinerary is flexible and you can discuss with your guide the night before to plan today's schedule.

You can have a relaxing breakfast and set off on a full-day game drive around 9am with a packed lunch before returning to the lodge in the late afternoon around 6pm. Alternatively, you can set out at 6am for an early morning hunting drive (this is the best time to see animals and a good chance to witness a hunt or kill). Then, return to your accommodation for breakfast and a little relaxation before heading out for an afternoon game drive with a packed lunch. Stop at a picnic spot and have a packed lunch before heading out on a game drive until the park closes. Return to the lodge around 6pm for dinner and overnight stay.

After a relaxing breakfast, check out around 10am and depart for Lake Naivasha, approximately a 5-hour drive.

Note: A short morning game drive in Masai Mara can be done on the third day for an additional fee of $85.
Note: Depending on your itinerary and plans for the next day, you may choose to skip these activities on this day and complete them before leaving Naivasha the next morning.

After breakfast, head to Lake Naivasha and take a boat to Crescent Island. Enjoy a nature walk next to zebras, giraffes, wildebeest, waterbucks, antelopes, and many other species of birds. Return to Naivasha by boat and have lunch at the lodge before heading to Nairobi.
